This is a late war rear seam M1 paratrooper helmet with a rigger made CAPAC liner.  The lot number on the helmet shell is 1139L which would mean that it was produced sometime around the end of 1944 or beginning of 1945.

This M1 McCord helmet is a front seam/fixed bailed with an early war Inland Manufacturing liner.  This helmet is also fitted with a 1st pattern USMC camouflage cover.  Shown in the photo is the "jungle" side of the cover.  On the reverse side is the "beach" side which is brown.  Lot #294C.

Two Schlueter M1 Helmets.

This is actually two different helmets.  They are both front seam/swivel bail with OD chinstraps and late war blackened brass hardware.  They are unissued and in very good shape minus rub marks from being stacked.  The best part about these two helmets is that they are Lot #365A and #366A Schlueter made helmets.  They have been together since they left the factory over 70yrs ago.

This Tanker helmet is made by Spaulding and is equipped with a set of R-14 receivers and Polaroid goggles.

This M1 McCord helmet is a front seam/fixed bailed with an early war Inland Manufacturing liner.  This helmet also has the remnants of "Jones" written in yellow on the front.  Lot #306B.

This M1 McCord helmet is a front seam/swivel bail with a Seaman Paper Company liner and a British made helmet net/band.  Lot #337A.

This M1 McCord helmet is front seam/swivel bail with Firestone liner.  Helmet also has a pair of Polaroid multipurpose goggles.  Lot #1018E.

At the beginning of WWII, the M1917A1 was being used and was a transitional helmet between the WWI era M1917 and the M1 which would replace it. The M1917A1 offered poor protection and had a tendency to move around on the wearer's head.

This M1 Schlueter helmet is a front seam/swivel bail with helmet net and an International Molded Plastics, Inc. liner.  The insignia on the side is that of the "Go Devils" 60th Infantry Regiment/9th ID.  The soldier has placed a photo of his girlfriend inside the webbing of his helmet liner for safe keeping.  Lot #287A.

This M1 McCord helmet is a front seam/swivel bail with a Westinghouse liner.  The insignia of the 29th ID has been applied to the front.  Lot #1101A.

7th USN Beach Battalion M1 Helmet.

This M1 McCord helmet is a front seam/swivel bail with a 1st pattern Hawley liner.  The 7th USN Beach Battalion would have been responsible for organizing the American landings in Normandy, France on D-Day.  Lot #1010S.

These early war liners were fragile and had a tendency to crack and break.

This is a M1 McCord helmet is front seam/swivel bail with a Westinghouse liner.  The helmet is also fitted with a 2" helmet net.  Lot #977A.

This is a front seam, swivel bail M1 McCord helmet with a Seaman Paper Company liner.  The name Artie is stenciled on the front along with a white band which may signify Military Police.

This M1 McCord helmet is front seam/swivel bail with Seaman Paper Company liner.  It appears to have the USMC green finish.

This M1 McCord helmet is a front seam/swivel bail.  The name NAILL is written small in red and then large in yellow.  There is also a helm wheel painted on the front.  Possibly a Quartermaster in the USN.

This M1 McCord helmet is a front seam/swivel bail with a International Molded Plastics, Inc liner.  Lot #?60?.

M1 McCord swivel bail, front seam helmet with Westinghouse liner.  Many soldiers used the silk from camouflaged parachutes to fashion a helmet cover.  It was quickly found that the silk material was to shiny though and reflected light at nighttime.

This is an M3 Flak helmet used by bomber crew members.  It is similar in shape to a M1 helmet except that the sides were cut out and ear flaps added to accommodate headsets.  The outside of the shell was coated with a "fuzz" type material to prevent the wearer's fingers from freezing to it at high altitudes.
